I’ve always been interested in how others experience the world (probably because I’ve felt I wasn’t experiencing the way I “was supposed to”), and began learning about Asperger’s syndrome when I read Mark Haddon’s The curious incident of the dog at midninght.
I began to learn more about it last year when I had a learner with Asperger’s as a member of one of the classes I was teaching. I’ve recently met a few more people with the syndrome and learned more about their experiences.
